Argentine Peanut Foundation.


The Argentine Peanut Foundation (FMA, as per the Spanish acronym) was created in 2001 by the Association of Agricultural Engineers of Gral. Cabrera and surrounding areas. This Non-profit Organization, is funded by the peanut producing and processing companies that belong to the Peanut Agricultural and Industrial Sector, grouped in the Argentine Peanut Chamber.

The mission of Argentine Peanut Foundation is to identify the issues affecting the peanut crop and other agricultural and livestock products of our area, and research and develop enhanced procedures and scientific solutions that enable to counter such issues, while promoting development and improvement of the peanut-growing industry to pursue research and dissemination of procedures that benefit the common good, the sustainability of crops and protection of the ecosystem.
