The Government of Argentina orders Coronavirus Lockdown

On Thursday, March 11th, the Government of Argentina issued a decree establishing a national quarantine to limit the possibility of contagion. Citizens are not allowed to circulate except for purchasing groceries and other necessary goods or in case of emergency.

Economic activities are to be suspended except for food production and distribution as well as other necessary goods.

Public administration will continue to provide services on a limited basis. Customs operations, both for import and export clearance, will be limited to the most important sectors. These measures expire on March 31th.
As for the 2020 crop, the harvesting process is still being normally developed with several protocols implemented in all of the involved areas.
